Reiki Course & Clinic Policies

Admission Requirements: Participants must be over the age of 18. No qualifications are necessary for the first degree, but completion of the first degree is required to attend the second degree course.

Attendance and Participation: To participate in the course, you will need to complete worksheets and other reading materials, which we will provide once we receive your deposit. It is expected that you finish this preparatory work before the workshop begins. During this period, you are welcome to communicate with the teacher at any time. The workshop spans two days, and your attendance is required on both days. The online work can be completed over a two-month period leading up to the workshop. Please note that if you fail to attend the two-day workshop, the Attunements cannot occur, and you will not receive your certificate.

Code of Conduct: When attending the workshop, participants are expected to respect fellow attendees and the tutor. Punctuality is important, and adherence to the course schedule is required.

Confidentiality: All information, whether personal or otherwise, received by Daisy Mae adheres to the Data Protection Act and is held in complete confidence. If anything is shared at the workshop by other attendees, we expect that you will hold this information in confidence, just as they will with yours.

Assessment and Grading: Your performance will be assessed through practical evaluations, encompassing pre-workshop tasks, a group discussion, and tutor-reviewed questions. Assessments will cover hand placement in Reiki sessions, centering and grounding techniques before treatment, an understanding of the Reiki principles and teachings, as well as aura reading and chakra balancing. These components will be evaluated on the workshop day.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: Once your deposit is received, you will receive the course workbooks, worksheets, and necessary materials for learning via email. Full payment for the course is required one week prior to the workshop dates. If you cancel before paying the full amount, your deposit will be non-refundable. If you cancel after the full payment has been received, you will receive 50% of the payment back, or you can opt to defer to a new date.

Health and safety are paramount in a Reiki training course to ensure a secure and nurturing environment for both learners and teachers. The following are essential health and safety protocols that will be implemented at the workshops:

Hand Washing: all participants / therapists are required to wash their hands before and after sessions.

Safe Space: there will be a safe and comfortable space for practice, free of hazards or distractions.

Ventilation: the training area & clinic is well-ventilated.

Comfort: please bring comfortable seating and mats for practice. ( only for the courses)
